Alan’s Music Center Project

Alan’s Music Center has been around for a long time…since 1954. They sell and rent instruments, repair instruments, provide music lessons, sell sheet music and much more in the La Mesa / San Diego area.
Their website has been up for a long time and like a lot of websites it was adequate when it first launched. The internet, however, marches on at an alarming pace and what was adequate 10 years ago is not so today.
The new site will be an informational site only, but they still wanted the ability to list instruments and prices and they want to be able to blog regularly. WordPress, once again, is the perfect answer. The site was built quickly using Artisteer and then I added a page to handle photo gallery pictures which will be used as product pages for instruments.
The Development Site Ready for Content
I spent an hour with Alan’s Music Owners Jan, Alan and Bob showing them how to use the very intuitive WordPress administrative area. The site is basically complete, all that is left now is for Alan’s Music to add their content and when that’s complete, I’ll launch the site.
I purchased inexpensive, professional images for much of the site and Alan’s music will be able to obtain many more professional images from their suppliers.
The new website is clean and SEO ready with a full Content Management System. All this at a price they can easily live with.
